South Florence Volunteer Fire Department covers the St. Rt. 79 corridor 25 miles south of the city boundary at the canal to mile marker 115, east of St. Rt. 79 11 miles, and west of St. Rt. 79 6 miles. This is our “stated” coverage area, we do however cover a lot more territory if there are situations in which no one is available or willing to respond.
